There are many different lesson plans, articles and ideas for teaching and talking about tolerence in the classroom on this website. Some of the articles are very interesting and make you think. There are also a number of games and activites that students can do on the webpage. I have chosen to look at one game that teaches about women's sufferage, VoteQuest. Use the link to look at the teacher's guide and then explore the game. Do you think that this would be something that you could use in your classroom? What do you feel are the strengths and weaknesses of using web based games to teach ideas? What grade level do you feel this game is appropriate for? Look at the teacher's guide questions on page two? How would you use these questions in your class (on a worksheet, after the game, etc.)?
